Getting a ramp will allow people to get in if they can get your attention, but often that is difficult. Lots of wheelchair users upon seeing a shop with a step or high threshold won’t even bother to try to get in because they are used to lots of businesses being inaccessible and hearing the same excuses for this when they ask for a ramp. If you advertise access and have a doorbell they will know that they are welcome to come in and access your services – and they won’t need a passer by to come in and ask for your ramp.
